Always connected, available, functional
We've doubled every power line in order to prevent any network interruption or fluctuation, including at ISP level.
If the connection to the public electricity network is interrupted, the UPSs and, then, the power generators, are capable of taking over the entire charge for an unlimited period of time, so as to ensure continuity of every supplied service.
Here's that power redundancy means to us:
- 2 power sources per server
- each rack is connected to 2 power lines
- 1 electric current generator per line and 1 UPS per circuit
Constant temperatures... all year long
Maintaining the right temperature is vital to the optimum functioning of equipment in a datacenter. But it becomes a challenge when hundreds of servers are running simultaneously in the same room.
In our datacenter, we use professional climate solutions from Emerson, leaders in the field. Air temperature and humidity are adjusted to create a constant environment with the best possible conditions for equipment.
Safer than “safe”
We double the electronic security of data with a complex system of physical security. Our datacenter is guarded by dedicated personnel 24x7x365 and each access session is video monitored and cleared through 3 control checkpoints:
- ID verification
- access card validation
- fingerprint validaton
2 x information = Backup
No data is ever lost from our datacenter. Among other reasons, because, anything we store, we store not once but twice, using two different hardware structures. That's how we make sure that your data is safe all the time and you have uninterrupted access to it, from any corner of the world.
Storage redundancy is guaranteed by:
- the installation of at least 2 RAID 1 (mirror) hard-disks or RAID 3,5,6,10,60
It's better to prevent than to extinguish
Our datacenter's protection systems are conceived to prevent any accident - including thermal shock. Fires are detected and stopped using the best equipment in the field:
- Vesda sensors
- photo-electric sensors
- fire extinction system with non-toxic, non-corrosive and non-polluting Inergen gas
