1. If you have activated an administration plan, our colleagues can assist you in installing, configuring and turning off/on applications from the server, within the agreed terms of your plan.
2. If you do not have an administration plan, our team does not have access to your server and cannot make any changes on it. They can only reset the equipment if you request it.
Our recommendation is either that you activate KVM over IP (iLO3) so you can control your server at any time, even when it is turned off, or to choose an administration plan suited to your needs and become worry free.

Yes. Through iLO3 you'll be able to connect to your server right from your home or office computer and install any operating system you want, as long as you've got the installer kit.

We provide a single public IP for each server, but you can add as many as you need, right from your my.Hostway account.

We use dedicated hardware solutions, which offer much better performance than the equivalent software. We filter attacks through a hardware firewall, software firewall and a hardware DoS/DDoS protection equipment.
Software protection is included with every server. Hardware filtering is optional, activated on demand and separately charged.

For Linux we offer cPanel/WHM with automatic installation, if the software is added in the ordering process of one of our standard server configurations. For Windows we can provide Plesk, but it can be ordered only with custom configurations, because the installation has to be done manually.

The functionalities of HP servers have allowed us to significantly improve the process of renting a dedicated server. The ordering and installing processes have been completely automated, based on the presence of the iLO3 module. Also, with iLO3, our clients can control their servers from any browser, just like they do the PC on their desk. This doesn't just mean that we provide a better experience, but prices go down as well, because less human resources are involved in providing the service.
At the same time, we work with HP because all our infrastructure is based exclusively on enterprise equipment and brand name components. We don't make servers from spare parts and we never use desktop components (e.g. i7 processors).

If you cancel the service before the acquisition of the server is final, you legally renounce the paid amount.

We only measure internet traffic that leaves your server (upload), not backup or LAN traffic. Past your reserved volume, you will be charged 0,08 EUR per each additional GB you use.

1 Gbit per second for both national or international traffic. Your server has a Gbit port and you can use all of it. There's no other limitation except the hardware capacity of the ethernet card.
